Education Sub-Committee
Facilitates Census awareness for local schools from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade, as well as postsecondary education institutions in the area. Work in tandem with Census in Schools program to provide a comprehensive outreach.

Sub-Committee Goals
• Reinforce the census message of accuracy and precision and work in conjunction with the Ohio communications plan in distribution of information and promotional items to students
• Develop a lessons learned document with aid of Census Bureau that can be used to create an accessible use of census awareness in schools, both for students and educators
Outreach Populations
• Students enrolled in higher education institutions
• P-12 students, with emphasis on students under the age of 10
• English-language learners (child or adult)
• Children in poverty

Census on Campus Initiative
