Start a Complete Count Committee

The immediate creation of a Complete Count Committee in your community will make sure that local residents are aware of the various census operations.

The more informed residents are, the better their understanding of the census becomes, increasing their willingness to return a questionnaire in 2010.

There are three types of Complete Count Committees: state government-sponsored, local government-sponsored, or community-sponsored.

On April 9, 2009 the Governor established the state government sponsored Complete Count Committee. Find out if you are a local government-sponsored or community-sponsored Committee by reading the Complete Count Committee Guide below.
